Serial Number Helper Privacy Policy
Serial Number Helper is a browser extension developed for Shri Nangli Stationery. It helps sellers manage saved serial numbers and apply a selected serial number on supported supplier catalog pages.
Information We Collect
The extension may process the following information:
- Account information: email address and authentication session data when you sign in.
- Subscription and device information: subscription status and expiry, a generated device identifier, device name/platform, and device activity timestamps. This supports subscription validation and the one-device limit.
- Extension settings: saved serial numbers, optional names for those serial numbers, the selected serial number, and extension preferences.
- Supported catalog-page information: catalog and price/shipping information needed to apply the selected serial number and refresh the page's shipping display during supported catalog actions.
How We Use Information
We use this information only to authenticate users, verify an active subscription, enforce the device limit, store extension preferences, apply the selected serial number on supported catalog pages, and provide the extension's requested functionality.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Account, subscription, and device-validation data is processed through Supabase. Catalog information is handled on the supported supplier page to perform the user-requested catalog action. We do not share this information with unrelated third parties.
Storage and Security
Authentication session data and device/subscription cache data are stored in Chrome extension storage. Extension settings and saved serial numbers are stored using Chrome storage. Requests to Supabase use HTTPS.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local session and cached account data can be removed by signing out or uninstalling the extension. To request deletion of account-related data stored in Supabase, contact us at amandhingra345@gmail.com.
Children's Privacy
Serial Number Helper is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the extension's data practices change. The updated policy will be published at this URL with a revised effective date.
